Track Name: lighthouse
Let's drive to the lighthouse,
405 is at full speed,
Look back there's the city,
Windows down goodbye.

35 years in a couple of boxes
New seeds and colored frames
And the sound of your voice fades into the wild
While the kids just fell asleep, alright.
Track Name: restless
Dogged chess players to a draw
Faithful to their beloved square,
I watch but I feel lost

Sunset's prom' on a weekday
Feeling alone on the city's concrete
I walk but I'm lost

Some terrible love hooked on discount
Standing quiet at the corner
I'm there but I feel lost

Being lost is one of my favorite feelings
In this foreign town every street just look the same

It’s a restless night on the edge of time
Track Name: monochromes

Track Name: venice fades away
13 hours on the train
From Paris to Venice
t's better than a cheap flight
From Paris to Venice

Maybe you're out of your character but
This summer dont start trite
And I'm watching you diving in a flawless wave
Called nothing

Paris fades away
Milan fades away

And I'm gonna crash
In the Adriatic sea
Track Name: crystal palace
Sommes-nous bien à l'abri au sommet de l'échelle ?
On a fait la mainmise sur des mers de poussière
On se croit tout permis à l'orée d'un échec
Sommes-nous bien à l'abri au sommet de l'échelle ?
Track Name: south
You flinch on the first swing
The ball was fast, the tag was late
The times they are a changin'
As you figured out still waters run deep
You never read Hemingway
Like you don't listen to what I say

And you're fucking clueless, the kids we were are damn dead.
It’s a stupid nonsense like filling voids with light lead

So I'm cranking up some ideas to move on South
'Cuz I'm turning up 32 and I have'nt seen much is what I think
Track Name: henry
He paused in a middle of a joke,
The smell of mice and dust was all over and outside the black pavement was wet from the spring rain giving something else to breathe to all the people in the room. Echoes of laughter eluded by the window.
He glanced at his collection of 7 inches, a form of art that he’ll pass on to his children. He got up, pins and needles in his legs and watched his audience still waiting for the punchline.
He needed a transition. He pointed out Pulp, not the zines, the book. “Some people just write stories till they die” he shouted, “and I have nothing that will keep me up to my old days”.
We ‘re Just a bunch of people addicted to multinational products waiting for nothing. We drink and eat shit.”
He became delusional. And stumbled as anger started to pour out of his body, his mouth being the fire exit.
Hey Henry, slow down, his sister said.
For once, I WILL NOT. He was standing, feeling the graciousness of the moment. As the world was listening to him.
He proceeded in the most epic way.
“Do you really think voting will change anything. You’re just damn fools.”
Any form of government in any country of this world does not seek the greater good. Fuck democracy. The state is not the right scale.
He felt like Moïse and was ready to go on a journey, travel from uni to uni to give the speech.
But the drugs kicked in bad, in a final stroke, he added “and don’t you think climate change is the ONE thing we could all agree on?” He fainted and fell hard.
The next morning, Henry forgot all about what he had said.
The thinking of a rotten democracy. The belief of being unique and a free thinker. He needed rest and so he did, working on some new jokes while the 5th season of the Sopranos was on in the background of his living room.
